Agata Apanel is a legal associate in the firm’s Warsaw office. In 2010 she graduated from Catholic University of Lublin, Faculty of Law and Administration. In 2009 she completed a course in American Law organized by Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. In 2010 she started Ph.D. studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw and she is in the process of preparing her doctoral thesis concerning public international law. During her studies she gained professional experience as a trainee in law offices in Warsaw and in The Rule of Law Institute Foundation in Lublin, within the program “Street Law”. In 2012 she gained admission to the attorney licensing program administered by the Bar Association in Warsaw. She is a two-time winner of Polish rounds of “Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition” in category “The Best Advocate” and a participant in international rounds of this competition in Washington, D.C. Agata Apanel specializes in international public and private law and in civil law. She is also involved in medical and pharmaceutical law issues. She is fluent in English and speaks also German.

Izabela Bartman is a legal associate in the firm`s Wrocław office. She graduated from Wrocław University, Faculty of Law, Administration and Economy, in 2002. She worked in the real estate broker’s agency where she gained experience in legal issues related to real estate. She also acquired experience working in IN CORPORE law firm in Wrocław. She speaks English.

Maja Bińkowska is a legal associate in the firm’s Warsaw office.  In 2002 she graduated from  the Faculty of Law and Administration, Warsaw University. She completed a course in English and European Law organized by the University of Cambridge as well as a course in American Law organized by the University of Florida.  In 2007 she completed Ph.D studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Warsaw University and currently she is in the process of preparing her thesis concerning environmental protection law. In 2007 she completed post-graduate studies - Interdisciplinary Post-diploma Study of Interpreting at the Institute of Applied Linguistic, Warsaw University. She is a sworn translator of English. Maja Bińkowska specializes in real estate law, environmental protection law, administrative law and procedure, civil law and private international law. Ms. Bińkowska is fluent in English. She also speaks German.

Tomasz Janyst graduated from the Warsaw University, Faculty of Law and Administration and Chinese Studies Department in 2011. In the same year he obtained degree of the Center of American Law Studies at Warsaw University at the course organized by the University of Florida and Warsaw University. He was a member of Academia Iuris where – as a student – he provided free legal services to clients. Tomasz Janyst specializes in civil law, commercial law and private international law. He is fluent in English, and has a good command of German and Chinese.

Krzysztof Kałłaur is a legal associate in the firm’s Warsaw office. He graduated from Warsaw University, Faculty of Law and Administration in 2008. In 2009 he completed a course in English and European Union Law organized by the University of Cambridge in co-operation with Warsaw University. In 2010 he gained admission to the attorney licensing program administered by the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. Krzysztof Kałłaur has been gathering his professional experience as a trainee at international law offices since 2005. He specializes in real estate and civil law. He is fluent in English and speaks French.

Magdalena Olkiewicz is a legal associate in the firm's Gdynia office. She graduated from Gdańsk University, Faculty of Law and Administration, in 2009. As a student she worked in the Legal Clinic of Gdańsk University where she provided free legal services to clients. In the fall semester of the academic year 2008/2009 she studied at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Technical University in Chicago, in the LL.M. Program in International Intellectual Property Law.  In 2010 she gained admission to the attorney licensing program administered by the Bar Association in Gdańsk. Magdalena Olkiewicz specializes in competition law, intellectual property law and civil law. She is fluent in English.

Katarzyna Sasiak is a legal associate in the firm’s Warsaw office. She graduated from European School of Law and Administration, Faculty of Law, in 2007. In the academic year 2005/2006 she studied at the University of Nice – Sophia Antipolis in the Peace and Development Law Institute where she obtained master degree in European and International Law. During her studies she gained professional experience working in legal offices in Poland (e.g. Salans) and abroad (Richards Butler LLP in Paris). In 2010 she gained admission to the attorney licensing program administered by the Bar Association in Warsaw. Ms Sasiak specializes in European law, consumer protection and competition law, commercial and civil law. She is fluent in French and speaks very good English.

Łukasz Sęk is a legal associate in the firm's Warsaw office. He graduated from Warsaw University, Faculty of Law and Administration in 2007. During his studies he acquired experience in Warsaw legal firms (including Smoktunowicz & Falandysz, Chałas i Wspólnicy, Linklaters). Łukasz Sęk was also an apprentice at office of the Polish Parliament and the international company M.W.Kellogg in London. In 2012 he gained admission to the attorney licensing program administered by the Bar Association in Warsaw. He specializes in civil and commercial law. Łukasz Sęk is fluent in English.

Michał Worotyński is a legal associate in the firm’s Warsaw office. In 2011 he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw. In the academic year 2010/2011, as the European Union “Erasmus” scholarship holder, Mr. Worotyński studied at the Law Faculty of the University of Regensburg (Germany). In 2011 he commenced his PhD process at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and also he began post-graduate studies, which prepare for a state exam for sworn translators of the English language. Mr. Worotyński specializes in civil law, real estate and construction law, public and private international law and maritime law. He speaks fluent English and very good German.

In 2008, she gained admission to the attorney licensing program administered by the Bar Association in Gdańsk. She specializes in competition law, EU law and intellectual property law, as well as in personal data protection. She is fluent in English and has a good command of German.

Maciej Żółtek is a legal associate in the firm’s Warsaw office. In 2010 he graduated from the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Law and Administration. In 2012 Maciej Żółtek gained admission to the attorney licensing program administered by the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. He worked in the European Legal Centre in Cracow where was dealing with civil law issues - mostly compensation matters. He was a member of Universytecka Poradnia Prawna UJ- a legal clinic, where he provided free legal services to clients. He is fluent in English, and has a good command of Spanish.
